Waiting Times

The Vision Practice will normally offer you an appointment within one week of your enquiry. We believe it is very important that your appointment times are respected and audit has confirmed that over 95% of appointments commence within five minutes of the arranged time.

Surgery for cataract and refractive lens exchange is not carried out simultaneously on both eyes. Dates for surgery will be arranged at a convenient time for you. Normally an interval of at least one week between procedures for each eye is recommended. On the day of surgery you are likely to be in the hospital for half a day, leaving by lunchtime if you are having morning surgery.
